Now, Manannan had a moose head mounted in his dining room, and many of the previous rulers of Daventry had been very fond of hunting, so the idea of heads mounted on boards and put up on walls was not at all foreign to Alexander.

Bronzed heads, however, was something a little new and, not only that, but the fact that the head was of a horse, a very useful animal not at all usually hunted, just made the item even more baffling the more Alexander thought of it. His imagination started to get carried away with him, wondering if perhaps someone had made it as a tribute to a prized stallion who had eventually died, or maybe it had truly been a unicorn at one point, but the precious horn had long since been swiped by treasure hunters with no regard for personal property.

Whatever the situation may be, Alexander decided that he was ultimately not a fan and wondered if it was too heavy for him to carry and move somewhere else in the store so he would stop having to look at it.
