It was good to be back in the island; in the end, spending New Year alone in Shadowcrest had been a bad, bad idea. A bit depressive, really, so she was glad to have people around. Even Apu, who didn't seem too happy with the gleeful looks he was getting from the girl now and then.
"New Year store clean up, I say!", announced as she rolled up her sleeves and decided to make an inventory of the store.
