Alexander had with him a pie. He didn't usually go for pies but, on his way to work, he had noticed it was such a good deal on the pie that it would be a shame to pass it up. However, now that he was at the shop, he was having a strange feeling that he shouldn't actually eat the pie. He couldn't help feeling that the pie might be useful, somehow, later.

And so he put aside any pie related cravings and turned his attention to fixing up an old sled. That, in combination with the shiny blue cloak that needed mending, were sure to keep him occupied today.
