Since Nina had taken over the shop, the collection of books on magic had slowly been growing so, like, when she needed a reference, rather than go to the Magic Box, she hit up her own bookstore first.

Only to find the books studying some spells of their own.

"Okay, like," Nina said, "I don't mind if you all want to learn to fly, but if any of you start trying to toss fireballs about I'm locking all the magic books away from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

From the way their pages all rustled at that, she was taking it that she had their agreement but, like, after seeing what they were up to… she figured that… well, she might as well stick around for a bit. Just in case.

She could read and she could keep an eye on the books and their attempts at using magic to fly. It was a lot like falling so far but they were determined.
