Wellspring Arms, Tuesday

Having successfully avoided the new students, Temari looked forward to a nice, quiet day at work. It might be interesting to hear that she was actually the more social of her village with that sort of attitude.

Of course, she also might have been avoiding thinking about her first few weeks in Fandom. Being a pony was something she never wanted to think about again.

Ender was a social boy, too. That's why he was heading into Temari's place of work instead of hanging around the dorms, looking for new people to talk to. "I think we're already getting old," he said, without preamble, as he walked up to the desk.

Hey. Cal liked his dramatics.

"Not suicide," Cal corrected. "I didn't say 'kill me, Fanbutt, kill me,' I just asked that you use your ninja skills to render me basically a mute for the general good of all society. We can just stick to cutting off my tongue, if you want, it's a classic."

And he even opened his mouth to present it for the slicing.
