Devil's Nest [after sunset]
It had taken Eric several days to get his affairs in a semblance of order in Shreveport, but now he was back in Fandom, trying to figure out exactly what had drawn him to this particular place when his memory had fled him.
...he was fairly sure it wasn't the clinging monkeys. "I will eat you," he said icily the one holding onto his lower leg.
The monkey looked up at him with adorable eyes.
"I've eaten worse than you over the past thousand years," he added, glancing around. His eyes settled on a sign that caught his attention. "Devil's Nest?" he said aloud, moving closer to peer through the windows.
A few minutes later, he was calling Pam, asking her to look into his purchasing a night club in Maryland.
After his brush with the witches, it seemed wise to vary his movements for a little while.

Sookie had been all set to stay warm and cozy in her room until she'd gotten a text.
And then another.
And another.
And so finally, she'd dragged herself out again, ignoring the monkeys that began clinging to her legs as she wandered down the street until she found the establishment texted to her.
"Really?"

That wasn't at all what she was upset about, no.
