"Either way, you're bound to be entertained," he decided, offering her a little grin. "And there are worse ways to wind down after... all of that, I'm sure. Welcome to your first end of the world here on the island, luv. Make it through alright?"

He hadn't really seen anyone but Karla and Topher after he'd flounced off from the D&D game. He was still vaguely shamefaced about that one.

"Better," he admitted, shrugging a little. "The world isn't vanishing into Nothing, I've heard confirmation that a few people I haven't heard from in ages are doing well. Even got something sort of resembling an apology from that skinny prat who called me Blue."

Which he was. But that wasn't the point.

And dim!

"You could, though I'm pretty sure I have better teeth," Jono decided, after a moment taken to bite back a flat-out laugh. "Mine aren't half as suitable for eating horses, really."

As a matter of fact, Jono had learned on Sunday that it was probably for the best if he just avoided horses altogether. They tended to trample when wounded.

"Pretty sure they'd require a bit of extra flossing," Jonothon replied, chuckling. "But then, I've never had horse, so it's difficult to say for certain."

Mystical bonds tended to complicate so many things, really.

"My teeth and I appreciate that." He smirked a little, raising his beer slightly. "So, how did the game end? I missed everything after the riddles, unfortunately."

What with all the flouncing.

He remembered the yelling, at least. He'd done more flouncing from there, when Deadpool had called him an emo kid.

"Megaphone radio," Jono mused. "Among the toadstools. That's something that doesn't happen often, even for Fandom."

"It isn't usually mostly about Dungeons and Dragons, either. But I imagine you've been living here long enough by now to realize that." A beat. "The interruptions were half the fun, mind."

It had been a good way to help get people's minds off of the end of the world, at least.

Jonothon shrugged.

"Maybe they were annoyed, maybe they weren't. Either way, I figure they're all thankful enough to be alive that they've probably forgotten about it by now. I hope."
