So, Sparkle was planning on putting in at least a half-day, today. Cade was in town, after all, which meant that he was going to knock off his shift a little early in order to go do something vastly stupid involving a zoo, a duck, and a large reptile with a lot of teeth. The more teeth the better, he was led to understand.

But in the meantime, he was going through more Halloween costumes, alternating between hanging them on the racks and actually trying them on. He'd mostly narrowed them down to fancy period pieces, stuff like that. He had basically no interest in going as a zombie or a vampire or a serial killer or...

He had a long list of 'nope,' after a few years on the island. Funny how that happened.
