"No, I can't arrest someone because they spun sugar in the 'wrong direction'," Liam was saying to the person on the other end.

"I don't care if you think it's a 'crime against baking tradition'," he continued. "It's not an actual crime." Also he was pretty sure the direction in which one spun sugar decorations wasn't that important to literally anyone other than this caller.

"I don't know, write a post calling them out on social media?" he suggested before hanging up.

Ugh. French pastry drama. Just one of the reasons he hated the damn cuisine.
