Modern Earth Entertainment, Monday

"Hi, everybody." Peter waved. He had his shirt back on for the first time since Friday, and it was good, but it also felt pretty weird.

"I thought we'd give the horror movies a break. We might come back to them next month, since it's kind of traditional. Tonight's movie is a classic, a bit more modern than the last couple, and it's got a lot of different things - humor, action, and love. Although Amaya might identify with one of the characters in that respect. Don't worry, it's not too mushy."

He waved at the table. "Get your snacks and enjoy the movie." He pressed play.

Amaya was generally one to sort of dilly-dally in front of the snack table, even if she always generaly went for the same snacks, but not this week. Nope, this week, she was definitely going to be decisive and quick about it, in the hopes to get her stuff and get out of the way to avoid another...ugh, flirting mishap.

Hadn't they all had enough of that this weekend? Really, now. But Peter was right, it wasn't too mushy, and she supposed the other parts of it (especially the sword fighting, and that sword itself, ooooh, she needed to get back on some fancy stuff like that again!) almost made up for it.

Did it concern her that her opinions on mushy stuff perfectly matched that of an eleven-year-old boy?

NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST. In fact, after last weekend, she was taking it as a particular point of pride.

But there was...something about that weasley little one's voice that made her sort of narrow her eyes a bit and generally feel a bit wary, even if she was sure she'd never heard it before. It was definitely the kind of voice a person would remember...
