The Devil's Nest, Tuesday Night

Lucifer had done enough pre-gaming today that he almost didn't bother to open up the club, but there was at least one other person on this island who probably needed alcohol away from anyone under 21, and, well.

Anyone arriving to the Devil's Nest that night would find Lucifer at the piano, playing his way through some easy 60s and 70s jams. A blue margarita sat on the piano; by now he was hitting the 'slow going' part of the night.

Lucifer wasn't the only one who had done that, which meant that Seivarden came across as being in a much better mood than she actually was. She hadn't messaged Lucifer since she had rushed out of his bedroom on Saturday, because he didn't like kids, did he? Hopefully he hadn't checked her Instagram then.

"That colour looks poisonous," she said cheerfully, leaning against the piano with a whisky in her hand.

She glanced at Lucifer's hands on the piano keys.

"What's the music theme tonight?"

"Oh, nothing that puts too much of a strain on anyone," Lucifer said, tapping a few idle keys. "I imagine everyone on the island has to be exhausted."

"What did you do?" Seivarden asked. He had said 'everyone' after all.

"Yes, it was a busy weekend." She smiled down into her drink.

After another sip, she added, deciding to make some kind of comment on the weekend:

"Apparently there's an alternate universe where Amaya and I run a spaceship building business on the outskirts of Radch space."
