The Boardwalk, Sunday Afternoon
For a person who spent a lot of her time nearby at the docks, Octavia didn't tend to visit the boardwalk much. Not when it wasn't just barely dawn and she was walking along it as part of her usual daily patrol before anyone else was even awake, and there was no one else there, anyway.
But this afternoon, she was there, taking in how it looked on a calm and quiet Sunday afternoon. No particular reason, and she was likely to end up at the Rouge later, but for now... There was something about the boardwalk that had called to her.
Maybe it was the snacks.
Because right this moment, she wasn't walking. She'd bought a funnel cake on a whim, and had stopped to stand by the railing overlooking the water to enjoy it. Or at least eat it. So far, she wasn't very impressed with it.
But like with so many things lately, she was glad she was here to get to try it.
[ooc: Ooopen.]

"Well, since it looks like I'm sticking around..."
You know, after over two years. Maybe her comfort zone was the past six months' worth of finally relaxing into living here.

"Glad to hear it."

As if it made a difference.

Obviously.

She knew it wasn't that part, specifically.

Which they'd already amply established, yes.
She fell quiet again, watching the water.

Or at least Bellamy had been. And she'd followed his lead.
