Midsummer Festival - The Beach, Saturday Evening

Sure it was a week late. And sure it wasn't even a traditional Midsummer festival because there weren't any games or people selling fried foods or screaming eyeballs in the sky.

But Magnus was pretty darn proud of what had been tossed together for a fun costume party on the beach.

With a big, mildly terrifying wicker bear waiting to be set on fire because something something Midsommar. He wasn't sure of the details because scary movies weren't his jam.

Either way, it would be good, clean fun!

That hopefulness had Freya feeling a little bad as she shook her head.

"Haven't heard of that, either," she admitted. "But, then again, you've probably never heard of Gaia."

A small pause.

"Or at least not the same Gaia."

It was apparently kind of popular, even in her own franchise.

"It's like that for a lot of people, but maybe someone from home will show up." Like Taako had for a little bit. Which had been loads better than Merle or Angus.

As anyone would be, really.

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind," Freya nodded, "should I ever have the pleasure of meeting her myself."

Though she would be much more interested in airing a few grievances first, anyway.
