The Photo Hut - Tuesday

It had been nearly two weeks since Liz had arrived in Fandom and she’d managed to get her shop up and running and she even had an employee now.

Now that she had everything organised regarding the store, she was looking forward to getting back into her own photography since the last time she’d actively pursued a creative project had been at least a month or so before Pittsburg and everything that had happened there.

For now she had a notebook out and was writing down some potential ideas for different projects that she could work on.

It had taken Jon a while to admit to himself that some old precautions might still be warranted. He hoped not, but better to prepare and not need them.

And since there was now a photography shop, here he was.

"Um. Hello." He nodded at the woman behind the counter.

"Erm. Possibly an odd question, I know, but - do you have any Polaroid cameras?" Jon asked.

“We do sell Polaroid Cameras here,” Liz told him, “is there a particular kind that you’re after?”

“There are a few different types,” Liz explained, “we have the more newer models such as the Polaroid Go and the Polaroid Now but we do also have the older Polaroids like the 600 Box Type Camera or the SX-70 Cameras,” she added.

"Erm, do the...that is, I'm curious if the newer ones are completely non-digital," Jon said.

Liz nodded, "that would be the Polaroid Now range," she said, "this one is pure film and non digital," she explained.

“Of course,” Liz nodded as she went over to the cameras, “did you have a particular colour in mind for the camera and for the film did you want to be able to shoot in colour only or be able to shoot in black and white as well? They’ll be separate films,” she explained.

"Oh. Erm, I...don't care about the camera's colour. And just shooting in colour is fine," Jon answered. He frowned for a moment. "I should probably get a book or something to keep them in, too."

Liz ended up picking up a green Polaroid camera and got the colour film to go with it, “We have quite a few different types of photo albums over here,” she indicated to where the photo albums were kept.

"Oh, erm, thank you." Jon nodded. He took the camera and looked it over. "And it really is...that is, I hope they haven't done something incredibly strange with the functions, it's just point it at something and press the button."
