Sushi Shop- Wednesday Afternoon

Kurt had a busy day planned. After shenanigans that afternoon Kurt was waiting for Libby so they could go on their lunch date.

He was feeling a little nervous as he stood outside the sushi shop. He hoped this was a good choice for their lunch. Guess he'd find out shortly.

And he most definitely was not pacing a bit as he waited for Libby.

"Kurt!" Libby, meanwhile, was not at all nervous about the lunch date; if anything, she was just really thrilled to get this whole 'lunch after the shenanigans' thing started with Kurt. Maybe it was a little silly of them, especially when there was always so much food available at the activities themselves, but she was enamored with the idea and her excitement was evident as she came back from getting changed (and probably cleaned up!) afterwards to meet Kurt at this week's spot. "Hi! Sorry! You weren't waiting too long, were you?"

"Not at all!" Kurt said with a huge grin. "And its always worth any wait to see you" he said as he went to give Libby a hug.

That was a pretty good indication of how he felt about these lunch dates right? Cuz he was as much in love with the idea as he thought he might be with Libby. So, ya know... Quite a bit.

The hug still managed to catch Libby by surprise, a little bit; she never really knew when were times when people hugged and when they didn't, but she would happily take this as an occasion for one, especially since, if she was hugging Kurt, it was less likely for him to notice how his words made her blush. Plus, it was just nice, even with all the awkwardness she felt in pulling away eventually and feeling all those flutters in her chest.

"Well," she said, "it's a good thing I'm not inclined to test you on something like that! Are we ready to go in, then?"

"Aye, let's go!" Kurt said as he held out an arm form Libby to take and lead them inside. "I hope... you are ok with sushi" he asked, realizing he might have been better off asking that question before choosing their lunch spot. "I haven't had good sushi in a long long time and I've heard good things about the sushi here."

"I love sushi," Libby assured Kurt with an eager smile, reveling a little in the fact that she could actually be the type of person who said things like I love sushi, as she entwined her arm with Kurt's and leaned on him a little as they headed in. "And it's a good choice, because I still haven't had a lot of it, so there's plenty of things I haven't really tried yet."

Kurt was very happy to hear that and smiled as he leaned ever so slightly in toward Libby as they walked in and found a booth to sit at. After helping her take a seat, he started looking over the menu.

"Did you want to get just one or two types?" He asked as he glanced up at her. "It looks like they have a sampler where you can get two pieces of all different kinds of sushi too."

"Well, that would make the most sense, wouldn't it?" Libby noted as she settled in and took a moment to just sort of look around and be pleased that she and Kurt were having a lunch date, an actual one, not just a break for lunch at the clinic while she was working, and it was nice, so, so nice.

She smiled at Kurt once her eyes stopped wandering. "I'd like to try a lot over just being stuck with the one. Unless there was one that was my absolute favorite, maybe, but I haven't tried enough to know what that would be. I do really like the ones with the crispy vegetables, though. Tempura, right? And the ones with cream cheese."

It really was nice, offical lunch dates and all that. It was very very nice, especially with the present company. It was nice to have as much time as they wanted, no rushing to get back to work, and no nurses trying to eavesdrop on them either.

"Aye, I think that is the way to go as well. Little of everything. We can definitely get some of the fried tempura ones to try" Kurt said with a smile. "And the spicey eel sauce is really good on most of them too."
