The Bookbelt, Tuesday Afternoon
Liliana had several errands to run in town today and one of those errands just happened to involve the bookstore. She was pleased to discover that, unlike Turtle and Canary, the inside of the shop looked fairly close to what she expected a bookstore to look like. Some concessions to the fact that it existed on the weirdest plane she'd been to yet, but overall, filled with books and shelves and that was really all she needed. She found her first purchase relatively easily, her second was a little harder, because while she had the name of the author, it was surrounded by a fair number of other interesting-looking books that she had to pause to peruse, and the third, well, all she had was a topic and a fairly broad one at that, so...if anybody needed Liliana, she'd be in the history section, a basket on her arm half-full of books (only two of which she had intended to purchase when she'd entered), idly flipping through a book about pyramids and arguing with it.
"I sincerely doubt that the people on this plane required Planeswalkers to make a building," she informed the book witheringly, like it might pass the message along to its author. "Even a very big one. Honestly, you're just embarrassing yourself. Well, you and your editor."
