Caritas; Wednesday [03/20].
You know, Summer wasn't sure if it was a good sign or not that it took her as long as it did to realize that Tino was speaking exclusively in French that day. She was, however, determined to justify it with the reasoning that Tino didn't really speak much at all, and even when he did, she usually only paid half-attention, quite often for her own sanity.
But it did inspire her to do a quick change on what her featured cocktail for the evening was going to be, although it was too late to really make appropriate switches with the jello shots. That was fine, though. Leaning into it too much might make Tino think that she actually supported him doing weird things like this, which she categorically did not, for the record.
But, fuck if she didn't love a good theme.
Featured Cocktail
Blueberry French 75
Featured Jello
Pineapple Upside Down
Samoas
Blackberry Cosmopolitan
Kimchi

Re: The Bar - 03/20.
"Pretty simple this week," Summer answered with a proud sort of grin, as if she herself was behind the entire conceit of a French 75. "Blueberries, obviously, and then you've got some gin and champagne as your boozahol, and then some lemon to just give it that nice finishing touch. You wanna try one?"
Re: The Bar - 03/20.
Would there eventually be one that wouldn't get this reaction? Only time would tell!
Re: The Bar - 03/20.
"Excellent," she said, having already started grabbing the things to mix it up. "And how's things so far this week, Harley? Pretty good?"

Re: The Bar - 03/20.
"It's the antique place, Needful Things?" Harley said as she picked up the glass (complete with a pleased noise, because it was pretty). "And it was really dusty."
Re: The Bar - 03/20.
"No shit?" she asked. "Really? You know I used to work at that place in high school."
Which was actually now starting to get to be a real substantial amount of time ago, unlike when she'd say that when she was, like, twenty or whatever.

Re: The Bar - 03/20.
She blinked.
Reminded herself that Atton was forty, to feel slightly better about that number.
"...a while ago, let's just say that, and then honestly never really thought about it much beyond that. And the only reason I even took the job then was because I used to work at a different Needful Things back home, actually, and thought it was interesting that there was one here, too. Not run by the devil, though."
Re: The Bar - 03/20.
Harley had had enough experience with gods to figure out that might be a literal thing, but figurative was more likely, so... question?
Re: The Bar - 03/20.
Excuse her for a moment for a wistful sigh, and she shook her head.
"That," she added, "was also another thing about this Needful Things that kind of threw me, that they're just regular antiques and not cursed ones. I guess that probably falls into the realm of Liliana's shop more than that one, although if you do come across any, I'd be interested to hear about it."
Re: The Bar - 03/20.
Her head was tilting thoughtfully now, though. "Yeah, nothing cursed yet 's far as I can tell," she lamented. (Clearly it was a thing to lament.) "Just a lot of old stuff, and the newer... merch that I have a source on the mainland for."
Re: The Bar - 03/20.
"You emphasised merch," she stated, eyeing Harley curiously now, "in a way that makes me feel like I definitely would like to know more...
Re: The Bar - 03/20.
And oh, right.
"They're not antiques."
