For one reason or another, Prompto hadn't been able to come in and do as much work at the the shelter these last few weeks as he'd been able to do before, so he was planning on making up for it today by getting loads of work done. Which included all the usual paperwork, of course, but today? Especially since he'd been thinking a lot about family and that sort of thing this week, he was going to do something that used to get done a whole lot more and should be done a lot more than it was now:

Cleaning the fishtanks.

The vet agreed to keep a pretty good eye on Noctra so that Prompto didn't have to split his attention as he got to work, and half wondered if maybe he should have Noctra help him out, or if that was just too cruel of a thing to do to a poor, unsuspecting child.

You never knew! She might be super into it! But maybe that was something to save for when she was, like, two or something.
