Caritas - Saturday Evening [Open]

Weevil arrives and immediately checks on the band. He's grateful they're all intact today. After making sure the bar is stocked, he opens the doors.

"It was a very nice ride. Then I won a vollyball game and I went rafting."

"A very full day indeed," the Doctor said. "Congratulations on the victory."

"Thank you." Pippi nodded. "I'm not sure if we get anything should we win the tournament, but it's fun."

"That is an award unto itself," the Doctor said, sipping his drink. "You shouldn't really need anything else."

"Yes. Satisfaction in a job well done is also a treasure unto itself."

The Doctor nodded. "But let me buy you a celebratory drink," he said. "Non-alcoholic, of course."

"Aw man." she said with mock despair.

"What'll it be? Soda, lemonade, bit of chocolate milk?" The Doctor smiled and waved Tino over.

"I'll have another fizzy limonade thank you very much!" she said. "What are you drinking?"

The Doctor smirked. "Never you mind. This is grown-up drinking, this is. Tino, bring Miss Longstocking another fizzy lemonade. With an umbrella."

Pippi is completely charmed by this guy.

"And a cherry with a plastic sword through it!"

"Oh, absolutely. It's just not a proper drik without a tiny plastic sword."

Tino brought the drink, complete with umbrella, cherry, and plastic sword.

"There's a good fellow," the Doctor said.

"Thank you." Pippi said to Tino. She took the run through cherry and ate it, then pointed the little plastic sword at the Doctor.

"Ha ha!" she said. "Now. Tell me what's in your glass me hearty!"

"A little bit of gin and a little bit of tonic," the Doctor replied. "I believe they call it a gin and tonic."

Pippi nodded. "Those are good." she said. "Oh hey... You wouldn't happen to be missing a duck would you?"

"Frobisher and I parted ways a long time ago," The Doctor said. "While I do miss him, I wouldn't exactly say I'm actively missing him at the moment."

"Frobisher? Is that his name? I've just been calling him 'Duck'."

"Wait, duck? I was thinking penguin," the Doctor shook his head. "Serves me right, having a drink like this. Frobisher was a penguin. Well, technically, he's a Whifferdill."

"I can see how you might get them confused." she said, "They have smiler dispositions."

The Doctor nodded. "May I ask why you're enquiring about a duck?"

"There's a duck that's missing its human." she explained. "I'm trying to help them get reunited."

"Oh," the Doctor said. "If I see a human who seems to be missing from his duck, I'll let you know immediately."

"Thanks!" Pippi said. "Is there anything I can help you with in return?"

The Doctor shook his head. "Not that I can think of," he said. "But I'll let you know, the instant something arises."

"In this place?" she said taking a sip of her lemonade and moving the umbrella out of the way. "That won't take long!"
