Cally hadn't been expecting that. She looked up and back at Nadia. "What for?"

Cally snorted and smiled. "You can't apologize for being you," she said. "S'not allowed."

With all the thoughts that raced through her head, Cally managed to get so nervous that she went to take a drink of her juice and managed to spill it down her front.

"Just be my friend," she said, looking around for a napkin.

Cally grabbed the front of her shirt and started wringing it, exposing just a wee bit of skin.

"And maybe find me a towel," Cally said. "That might help."

Cally looked up at Nadia. "Okay, I'm not going to get the wrong idea if you help me dry off," she said. "You're totally okay to actually help me."

Cally smiled and chuckled. "Well, given that I'm the only one with feelings above platonic friendship, I figure it's just normal, and I keep a good head on my shoulders about it all. You don't need to tread carefully or anything, honest."

"So?" Cally asked, straightening out her shirt. "So what?"

"Oh," Cally said. "Erm... oh, did you know Conner's a eunuch?"

"He told me during Computer class," Cally said. "He was bragging about how I was jealous and wanted to touch his big red T staff? And then he talked about how I couldn't because he lost it."

"And people wonder why I've taken an interest in girls," Cally said with a nod. "Seriously."

Cally blinked. "This is a boy who's cute nickname for me was a baseball position," she said. "What do you think?"

"See, you picked a good one," Cally said. "And that's why Walter ends up with a great girl, cause he's... aaaaanyways..." She took a drink of what was left of her juice. "I will now apparently only attract boys with bizzare naming issues."

"I suppose my first question to each boy should be 'do you have a funny name for your penis'?" Cally chuckled. "I think at that point, I really would be sleeping alone."
