Fozzie kicked his feet in the air idly as he looked at all the potential audience members, and tried to pinpoint their kind of sense of humor just by watching them. It was a skill he was working on.

Robin, who'd been watching the door ever since she was warned to, hurried over to him before Barney could get there and tell him that her first boyfriend ended up gay or something. "Hey!"

Lily moved out of earshot of the other table to pick up the phone. "Tell me you're somewhere in the vicinity of the East Coast. Okay, we're that far. Are you anywhere near Virginia? No. Okay. Why are you in a cab on a barge with Ranjeet? Okay. Hi, Ranjeet. No, everything's fine, we're just... What was that? I can't hear you over the steamer horn thing. Yeah, good talking to you too. Marshall, if you're really still at home in some sort of embarrassing situation, you can tell me. I mean, it's me. Okay, I know. Love you, too."

When she hung up and turned around, that was when she saw the girl.
