Town Hall, Wednesday Afternoon

When she was done at the radio station, Zoe left handwavey messages for Hades, Harriet, Fraser, D'Argo, and Roy, and headed to the town hall to meet them all there. She still had the letters with her, and hoped that everyone would arrive soon.

[For those who got the calls!]

Roy had heard the radio and gotten the message when he showed up at the Town hall - it wasn't like it was far from the station. And now he was really wishing that he'd been worrying about Aly for nothing.

"Principal Washburn," he greeted, his expression grim. "What's the word?"

He took the letters from her curiously, reading through the top one before browsing through the rest. He paused at one in particular, his expression darkening.

"Definitely not good," he grumbled, almost wanting to hold on to that one, but he hand the pile back to Zoe. "I've never read anything in the old reports about these angels before."

Fraser found his way to town hall with two dogs this time. Dief, who was right on his heel and Peanut who he was carrying as the little dog wouldn't let him leave the apartment without crying.

"Good afternoon," he greeted those who were assembled, nodding.

"Didn't we say something about needing to stop meeting like this?" Roy wondered, sparing a glance at the dogs.

"Sheriff," Fraser said, holding out a hand instinctively. "And yes, I believe we did. Of course, things have a habit of not working out how we'd planned."

"Something like that," he said and laughed. "This is one of Robin's dogs. There are four more at home. Just be glad I didn't bring them all with me like I did yesterday. How are you?"

When D'Argo arrived, he might have been muttering something like "It's always something."

"Good idea," he said. "At least I'm not in the past this time. It's statue-smashing time?"

Yes, he'd heard radio. It just so happened that he failed at listening, and was therefore an awesome example.

Harriet was finally there, a little later than the others because her mun was fast asleep she'd been making plans of her own.

"Are we certain they've been sent back in time?" she asked briskly as she walked in. There were very few things which could make her forego the niceties; it turned out that this was one of them.

Harriet took them silently, carefully looking through them, mouth tightening into a thin line as she skimmed the contents. "I see," she said, looking up at Zoe as she handed them back. "I don't suppose the school has a time machine anywhere about the place, does it?"

"What'd I miss?" Hades asked, appearing in the doorway. "Wait, no, let me guess." He held up a hand to silence anyone who might want to ruin the surprise for him. "People are missing, something around here's making it happen and it's time for the town to get their groove on and blow some things up. Am I right? Huh?"

Angels are doin it for themselves.
Standin on their own two feet.

Come on Angelica, come on Angelori,
Let's go to the past, you won't be sorry
Put on your old, dirty robes
And your cool summer weight PI chapeaus
In the past, having fun is what it's all aboot
