Our Lady of Fandom, Saturday all day

Graduation meant nothing to Gabriel. Karal leaving did, however, and he was in a foul mood, scowling at the Cat, who pretended he didn't exist.

[The church is open]

A covered bowl of beef stew, a bag of tuna, and a napkin full of brownie were left, in a bag, in one of the middle pews.

Liir, for his part, hid near the back of the church, desperately not wanting to be seen. For most people, that probably meant he wasn't seen. For Gabriel and the cat, however, who could know?

Liir didn't particularly care. He just needed the scents and sounds and feel of a church. And if the Unnamed God chose to come down to scold him about being in His house and not paying proper tribute to Him, well, it'd make it all the easier for Liir to tell him to his face exactly how much he wanted to punch Him.

Which was fine with him.

He'd stay here as long as he could, acting like any other Ozian in a way: hiding in the shadow of the Unnamed God to keep away the Wicked Witch.
