The Park, Monday Afternoon

After a trip to the Perk for an iced coffee, Teddy found himself in the park. The weather was nice and he was sitting on one of the benches, watching the ducks in the pond.

...he probably should have brought something for them to eat considering how they were starting to crowd up around his feet.

"Shoo! Shoo!"

This could not end well for him.

John decided the sight of ducks descending on a teen was a good one to stop and watch as he cut through the park on his way to town. "Did you eat their breadcrumbs or something?"

"I didn't have breadcrumbs," Teddy replied, trying to nudge one rather persistent duck away with his foot.

"Or they're trying to eat me," Teddy replied, pulling his feet up. Hopefully they'd see the new person and attack HIM instead.

John put a protective hand to his hair for a brief moment. "This feels like that time it snowed giraffes for some reason." He looked warily at the ducks. "Please don't encourage them to eat me now."

"But those melted!" And look at that, the ducks noticed John was there. And not feeding them yet. "And I'm not encouraging anything!"

John considered that, noticing the ducks turning back toward Teddy. "...I guess guys ought to stick together. There's some code or something about that. Brotherhood or whatever."
