The blond girl in the skull-print hoodie, miniskirt and black combat boots didn't actually need any help with her shopping. She had just dropped in to see what was theree while she was on her little stroll through town, and was wandering aimlessly, looking at clothes.

That didn't stop her from gravitating towards the boy she thought was cuter, however.

Unfortunately for Kate, even if he hadn't been a waffle-maker, the waffle-maker was really kind of gay.

Also unfortunately, because he was a waffle-maker, he didn't really know much about fashion.

Like that was going to stop him.

Kate could always claim her gaydar had been on the fritz because she had just spent several days as a cat.

Or hell, she could even say it was because he was, in fact, a waffle-maker, which was not supposed to have any sort of sexual orientation at all.

The shirt seemed to clear her head about the whole phone number thing a bit, though. "Um, I don't think that's really my style..." She frowned.
