The Perk: Sunday Morning
Gibbs wasn't much of a cook really, so breakfast today involved eating out and in particular a good cup of coffee.
Kelly's breakfast and beverage were easily ordered at the perk but trying to get just a regular plain cup of coffee didn't seem possible with the overly enthusiastic barista behind the counter.
He heaved a heavy sigh. It was going to be one of those mornings.
[Open for anyone needing a good dose of caffiene. SP if you wish to chat with Gibbs]

The barista gave the girl a blank look. Clearly she did not.
"Never mess with a marine's coffee!" Kelly shouted. "Boo-yah!"

"Well you heard the lady," Gibbs said putting his hand on Kelly's shoulder. "Just plain old coffee. Black."
The barista sighed. These people had no soul.
But Gibbs got his coffee, damn it.

The little girl riding on his shoulders ducked down. "All clear."

Which meant he was at the Perk getting coffee. Or two. Or three.
And maybe a piece of pie.

"Oh look who it is," Chuck said when he spotted Dean. He let go of Mary's hand so she could launch herself at Dean for a hug.

after Chuck and Jacob had left, luckily, he was derailed from his coffee quest by the sight of Dean. "Hey! What are you doing here?" he said. "Come to see how many kids you've got this year?"no subject
