Spring Parents' Weekend Brunch | Sunday Morning to Afternoon | The Park
Another successful weekend of avoiding angry and confused parental figures and listening to radio with a broad smile on his face and a tub of popcorn at his side meant Barney was happy to oversee the gathering of guests, students, teachers, and townies happening in the park.
Ah, but the morning was bright and sunny, regardless of what any weather reports might claim. With el presidente and the rest of the student council taking care of friends and family, it was up to Barney to make brunch happen. Amazing what an iPhone could do these days, like make tents, chairs, and tables of blue and gold appear all around the park along with tables of hot and cold cuisine perfect for what anyone might expect of brunch. Apparently there was an app for that.
And now for the sitting, chatting, and eating. Today was the day when everyone would say goodbye and flee the island, leaving the land peaceful once more. Barney thought it was a lot like what happened after invasions, just with less blood and goop on the streets.
[OCD UP. Have at, bbs!]

Re: Mingle! [SPW 3]
Timelines, Bobby. Timelines.
Re: Mingle! [SPW 3]
"About when Magneto took over the school." Which was after Bobby was supposed to have graduated, and yet here he was, still a teenager. Enjoy that headache, Scott.
Re: Mingle! [SPW 3]
Jury was out on 'acting', ladies and gentlemen.

Re: Mingle! [SPW 3]
"Am I going to regret asking after your schoolwork?" Scott asked, ignoring him, and once it dawned on him he should... probably do something Parents Weekend-y.
Like figuring out whether he should lecture Bobby on not spilling anything about certain redheaded children.

The more intel he got, the better.
Re: Mingle! [SPW 3]
"We had alternate-universe children from the future show up a few weeks ago," Bobby supplied. "We get invaded a lot, actually. I think this island's a bit of a trouble magnet." Not entirely unlike wherever the X-Men happened to be staying at any point in time...
Re: Mingle! [SPW 3]
Dammit, Jean. Nathan was not 'settled down'.
"How frequent is it? Any major damage?" (Though he'd be somewhat mollified hearing about the girlfriend. That would close off at least one potential huge safety issue... Drake.)
