Momoko rushed her way through the aisle towards where she'd spotted Dinah, apologizing as she bumped knees and stepped on toes. She'd had the Dickens of a time some trouble getting to her portal due to the stupid bus schedules in El Paso, but she was here and it wasn't technically late if the curtain hadn't risen, right?

"Dinah!! Hi! Is that seat for me or Kyle?"

"If you think Portalocity is bad, you should try reading the Sun Metro schedules." Momoko's return hug was very tight, sorry. But Dinah had been DEAD! And yes, it was so much of a relief to see her alive, even having spoken to her. "Missed you."

Uhm. She hadn't. Hence the blinking worried look as she pulled back.

"Why wouldn't she be? And why text you if you were here?"

Momoko frowned as she lifted Dinah's jacket to sit down. "I thought Warren's dad was," how to put it? "Not nice? Ah! Not that anything bad should happen to him, of course! Did they talk to the police?"

"Wait, they went back in the middle of a war?!"

"But she's fine, right?" Her frown deepened. "She never called for help. She knows she can do that, right? It's not just you she's got, I'll totally come for her any time."

Other people with powers were nice, but they weren't people she knew.

"Don't take too long, because I'll be waiting right behind you. Or I can lecture Warren while you take Karla?" Momoko squeezed Dinah's hand, worried about it but unable to do anything. "They are back, right? Both of them? I was looking forward to hearing about her world's holiday... Are there really unicorns in her world?"

"Ah! Real baby unicorns! I am so jealous!" Said the girl who could fly and survive in space. "If they're not back, we totally have permission to go fetch them, right? Since they didn't call us to help?"

Momoko's justification was simple: her friends were somewhere NOT SAFE.

"She promised to take me," Momoko chuckled and settled back, her mood lightened again by Dinah agreeing. "Of course she also promised a statue of me in the park made of pink quartz, so I totally don't know if she meant it."

"Ah." Momoko scratched her cheek and looked away at that. "My defeating the Gone. We talked about silly stuff at the end, like her joining my fan club and stuff."

Silly or not, though, Karla was still getting a Blossom doll for Christmas.

"Yes, but I think I totally owe her the statue now. She's the one who actually won."

"Not fair. You've talked to her since then; I haven't." Momoko laughed. "And I am totally not betting cookies I don't even have. Ooh! Is JGOB going to be open after this? I could totally use some sweets! Dinner seems forever ago."

Momoko blushed a bit. "I was kind of hoping you'd let me stay with you, but I didn't know you were staying with someone else."
