Mercy was here. She wasn't nervous about the singing part, really. She'd had to sing enough at the Friday night gatherings back at Aspen Creek. And at least here most of the people didn't hate her, so that was a plus.

Still, she felt kind of uneasy about just... stuff. And the scent of everyone else's nerves were getting to her.

Miley was warming up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMAlf81vECo) and pacing back and forth, hand curled tight around the glittery pink microphone she'd specifically brought with her. (It was a Hannah thing. Don't ask.) It felt weird, being nervous for a small-town performance like this one, but there you had it.

Petra had found a card table and an out of the way corner to set up her sewing kit in case anyone needed her services. Ripped hem, missing button, too-big elf costume? Bring it on. She was warming up her voice as she waited for anyone who needed her help.

Raven was uncharacteristically in white tonight and trying hard not to let it show how nervous she was. She knew she could perform the song well; she just wasn't used to an audience.

Hank stood backstage with his legs spread and eyes closed, holding his guitar One hand was extended straight up in the air, ready to come crashing down on the strings dramatically. Not that much would happen, since the guitar wasn't plugged in to an amp right now, but he was trying to get into the rockstar mood.

If anyone got close enough, they'd hear him whispering under his breath, "Be the guitar. You are the guitar. Be the guitar. You are the guitar."

Billy would just be over here, telling himself that everything would be fine and that he wasn't going to throw up.

Was he not supposed to be doing that out loud? Oops. At least he was doing it quietly?

Rinoa's hands kept going to her rings. She wished her mother could be here, to see this. Maybe she could hope that somehow out there, her mother could see it anyway.

Karla had changed into her favorite set of Widow's Weeds and the inky black ~~omg use your imagination people~~ contrasted against her pale skin and her fair hair. Her hair was up in a loose knot, and her Sapphire practically glowed at her throat.

Other than the black eye, the split lip, the limp, and the road rash down one arm, she thought she looked like a proper Black Widow ought, especially one who was about to share an important part of their culture.

Kenzi was running around like a crazy person still, but she finally sat down with a wooomph.

Find seats, chat, mingle, enjoy the fact that we're no longer disappeared!

Stephanie was a total sucker for holiday shows! Luckily saying she'd naturally be here with bells on wasn't literal.

Regardless. There she was, ribs healed up enough to move around without discomfort (that bacta stuff was cool), not exactly dressed in holiday-appropriate colors but grinning festively enough to make up for it.

Kitty had told Jono that she wanted to see this and she did. She found a seat where she thought she could get a good view and settled in to let Fandom impress her with its talent.

Well, of course Gabrielle was going to support her fellow students in their artistic endeavors! Did you even have to ask if she would? There she was, sitting as close to the front of the theater as she'd been able to manage, hands clasped in her lap and looking attentive and eager.

Granted, there was a little desperation mixed in there, like she was going to be cheerful and have a good time no matter what so help her gods, but points for intent at least. Right?

Squall sat and waited patiently for the performance to begin.

In the front row, not the back this time. Rinoa was going to be onstage.

Hanna told a few people she'd be at the holiday show, so she was there. After finding a seat, she waited for the show to begin.

Dave figured that since Miley was in the show, he should actually see his super famous girlfriend at work.

Of course, the fact that Miley was in the show meant that he was in the audience alone. Just chillin'. Alone. ALAS.

Warren wasn't going to miss this show for anything in the world. He'd been planning on coming to this since before he and Karla had even had their falling out, and if after all of that, people thought that he was going to just sit back and mope...

Okay, he was well within his rights today to sit back and mope. But instead he was here, after a quick shower, his hair and wings still slightly damp.

Which was better than showing up with bloody, ragged pants and no shirt, caked in blood and dirt and ashes. Trust him on that one.
