After a long day of investigating the island and trying to figure out how Jamie and Johnny had ended up forty plus years in the past, Jamie decided he needed a drink.

And that's when he noticed someone familiar behind the bar.

"Um. Technically I've never been here'" Jamie frowned. "Well, I've been here but for another forty years. Unless my future self has come back in time and... Oh, by the Eye of Agamotto I hate this time travel stuff. I need a drink. And please tell me you have cold beer. I don't think I can stomach any more sour red wines."

"Oh, you know. The usual," Jamie replied as he reached for his wallet. "Tornado. Spinning house. I'm still looking for that golden brick road to get me back to Auntie Em."

But instead of a wallet he pulled out a sock puppet.

"I don't know why but that keeps happening," Jamie said shaking his head. "So tell me, what's the headmistress of Xavier School of Magical arts and gifted children doing here?"

Jamie was just about to sip his beer until he saw Kitty's reaction.

"Wait. You're not a sorceress?" He queried. "No way! Man I hate alternate universes. In my world you're like that woman in charge of Barry Plodder's dorm. Except younger and less wrinkly."

"Well, you're a mutant and a sorceress which is always awesome," Jamie smirked. "We always have a extra tool in our belt if we need it. Of course the unending battle with the mystical forces of Dormanmu kind of sucks. I take it your less mystical in your world?"

"No. Not really," Jamie said wistfully. "I was looking forward to seeing someone from my reality. Closest one from my Fandom is Johnny Storm and he just sets himself on fire. But seriously, how'd you end up behind a bar?"

"I assume you mean the reason and not Fandom itself," Jamie joked. "Because I'd never call Fandom a dull place to live. Even in the past. "

Jamie scowled. "Yeah. A thirteen year old despot and his scheming grandfather run the town. And principal Underwood comes across like a Georgia peach but you don't want to cross him either. But definitely a strange place. I had a debate with my toilet last week when the furniture started talking. That's a conversation I wish I could I could erase. "

"Well you still have that opportunity," Jamie teased. "These things seem to reoccur on a regular basis."

"No. No you don't, " Jamie said seriously. "Think of a power crazed Magneto with teenaged hormones. It's not pretty."

"The kid likes to shoot bunnies with a crossbow," Jamie grumbled. "And that's his more endearing side."

"Yeah, he's a sweetheart," Jamie said finishing his drink. "And he has no sense of humor."

"We're working on it," Jamie said with a shrug. "There's an underground movement but it's slow going. Lots of people support the regime. And Joffrey's grandfather and Principal Underwood are pretty damn sneaky."
