Outside JGOB- Sunday morning
Aeryn hadn't meant to be here again today. But she'd been cornered by a horde of shambling gremlins, and after realizing she had an opportunity to shoot things, she'd taken care of them and seen them go back to normal.
So she got a coffee and took a seat outside, shooting at anything coming her way that might try to bite her. You know, casually.
And this was why Aeryn loved Fandom.

Also he'd smelled the coffee from across the park.

He moved quickly behind her chair when one of the shambling gremlins came a little too close for comfort.

"That does sound about right, actually," she said. "Sorry."

And that's how Peter was dealing with gremlin zombies today. "You know, I was going to put on my costume for this, but it would feel weird to beat up gremlins as a superhero. How're you doing, Aeryn?"

He was looking a little ragged at the moment and his black suit had gone from pressed to extremely wrinkled and frayed. "Aeryn!" He exclaimed as he approached the table. "So good to see you. Lovely day we're having, isn't it?"

...Right, so he totally could've gotten here alone, then. Shut up. The point was, he didn't, which was why he started shifting a curly-headed one year old from his shoulders to a much safer grip as soon as he spotted the girl with the gun. "Oh, good, an invasion. Of course there's an invasion. Why wouldn't there be an invasion? ...Please tell me it's a giant fuzzy kitten invasion?"
"Kiii!" Bronwyn added hopefully. She might not be able to say the word yet, but she certainly recognized it.

That's Aeryn, making conversation in the middle of looking for things to shoot.
