The Beach, Friday Evening
A new Friday, a new change of scenery. Tamsin had hoped for somewhere else that stocked booze, but thankfully, she'd had the foresight of getting a whole bunch of it from the Restaurant before they moved this morning.
It was Friday evening, and Mobius's sun hung low in the sky, but it was warm, and there were birds chirping as they flew past Fandom's dome. Perfect atmosphere or whatever. There were large, glittery umbrellas dotting the sand for effect, a bunch of chairs and tables arranged just a few feet away from the sandy parts of the beach, and a few grills were cooking away meat and veggies for the incoming guests.
Fandom beach party. This would definitely end well.

Re: Hang Out On The Beach
She was quickly running out of money in Fandom. Coats, dresses, and now possibly musical instruments. It would make practicing easier though.
Re: Hang Out On The Beach
//You can feel free to stop by at any time to give them a test run,// he shared. //Or borrow them for things like this, if you want. You don't have to make a purchase, either. I know the decent ones aren't exactly inexpensive.//

//If you'd rather not borrow, you can rent,// he said, easily. Not that he was picking up on that unease, per se, but he could tell when somebody was the sort of person to not trust anything that seemed too good to be true. //We have student rates, actually, but I thought I would make the offer first, since Hannibal is giving you lessons and all.//

Because sometimes, that was a choice he felt confident in sharing with the island's more classical-minded residents, yes. He wouldn't be able to do the vocals, of course, but this one would stand just fine on its own without them.
RE: Re: Hang Out On The Beach
"That was beautiful. Is it a song from this time?"
[Perfect choice! :D]
Re: Hang Out On The Beach
There was a pause, and then he added, a little tentatively, //Most of their music is much faster, and louder. But sometimes, metal music can be startlingly melodic.//
Re: Hang Out On The Beach
Re: Hang Out On The Beach
//That's not necessarily far off,// he admitted. //A lot of metal music is hard, and fast, and loud, and angry.//

And hell, he'd even play more Metallica.

Re: Hang Out On The Beach
//Another,// he offered, gently, //or should we take a break from these ones for now?//
It was kind of like an offer, if she wanted to talk about it. A very open-ended one, the sort that didn't expect an answer if one wasn't forthcoming, but was willing to be an open ear if she needed one.
Re: Hang Out On The Beach
No, she wouldn't talk, but at least she felt safe enough to stay.
Re: Hang Out On The Beach
//I never mind playing more,// he promised, and then he settled in to keep playing. For as long as he had an audience, he'd be happy to do so.
