Covent Garden Flowers, Friday (9/20)
Keyleth had a cup of coffee in her hands when she came in today. She'd been steadily sipping at it since she bought it half an hour ago, and it was half gone by the time she arrived at work.
Where the flowers were singing again, this week, only they seemed to be doing bawdy old drinking songs in five-part harmony. At least, she would guess they were bawdy drinking songs; something about them just sounded like the kind of thing that would make her get kind of flaily and embarrassed.
At least if the tips of her ears were a bit red today, it wasn't all that noticeable against her hair?
[OOC: Yeah, IDK. Post open, SP pretty much a guarantee today.]

Trevor was returning the favor from last week, carrying a box of pastries that sounded kinda familiar. Also familiar? The songs.
"I think I've heard those."

The books were totally starting a mutiny as they spoke.

And then she realized he was carrying a box. "Oooooh, what do you have there?"
Wait, was she assuming too much by thinking he'd brought them to share, and hadn't just stopped to run an errand on the way over? Oops.

"You brought me cookies." He shoved the box toward her. Don't make him use his words here, Keyleth.

She paused, thought that over for a second.
"I mean -- I do appreciate it, and it's really nice of you! I just hope you didn't do this because you thought you had to, you know?"

Wait, no. They looked edible and full of nostalgia. Abort, abort!

"Aw, I wouldn't do that. They smell delicious, anyway. You . . . are going to share them with me, right?"
She looked so hopeful, Trevor. Look at those wide eyes.

He huffed, shoving one into his mouth. "Ish goo'," he mumbled around a mouthful of pastry.

And then she actually took that bite of it, and --
"Oooooh, that is good."

She finished off half of her first pastry and started in on the second half.
". . . is that really such a weird concept?"

Also, think about the poor werewolves!

Thanks, light pollution!
