Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [02/04].
Astrid had been thinking about ghosts a bit too much lately, or at least it seemed that way when she got to work that day. Maybe it was just the bergamont in the Earl Grey tea she was brewing, maybe it was just all the jasmine and rose and carnation around the shop that day. But what about the sandalwood, the cloves, the uneniable woody undertone? It was the unmistakable scent of L'Air Du Temps in the shop that day, so heavy and suffocating that it gave her a headache, made it almost impossible to concentrate on the orders that were already starting to flow in for Valentine's Day.
She was trying to find ones that had other fragrant flowers in them: lavender and lily and lilac, and she worked closely with them, breathing them in to chase the perfume away, but it didn't work very well.
The only thing that seemed to overpower it were violets, and those weren't much better.
Covent Garden is open!
