The Devil's Nest, Tuesday Night
So Lucifer had spent last night - and most of this morning - in a hotel bed in Baltimore with Seivarden and an extremely enthusiastic couple with formidable stamina. Then he'd spent most of the afternoon sleeping off the previous night - and woke up to the sense that whatever was in the air on the island... was still there.
And so his arrival to the Devil's Nest came accompanied by an incredibly good mood.
He settled behind the piano, hit the keys, leaned towards the microphone, and. Well. Today was not going to be a PG-13 rated musical night, to put it mildly.

"Mmhm," Octavia hummed, followed by a quiet snicker. And then stealing a quick kiss, before murmuring, "Can't wait to find out what yours are like."

"Why did I think waiting was a good idea?"
She had a feeling she'd be asking that a few times tonight.

"Sounds like foolishness is pretty easily fixed," she murmured. A little distractedly.

"Sure," he said, not really keeping up with the conversation here. "How else do we learn from our mistakes?"

But Octavia looked up past his shoulder, and caught Tiny on the other side of the bar, pointedly not looking at them. And while she couldn't bring herself to feel anything resembling even sheepishness about it, at least it reminded her where they were.
"Heya, jaka," she said, turning her head and trying to catch his temple with a kiss. "How about we finish the drinks and go where you don't have to stop at my collar bones?"

Riiiiight. They were at the club.
"Briyon, gona," he murmured, and resisted the temptation to take one last taste of her skin. He'd just forget where they were again. "My place or yours?"

In fact, if she could get away with not interacting with Larceny at all tonight, that might be good. Octavia was feeling an overwhelming desire to keep to a two-person bubble as soon as they were out of this club.
... You know. On top of all those other overwhelming desires she had.
Reluctantly, she pulled away just enough to reach for her glass again - and just knocked back the rest of the brandy all at once. There hadn't been too much left, it was fine.

"You don't have a tab or anything, do you? Not that I'm above running out on it."
But they did live here, so it was generally nicer not to antagonize any local establishments (more than they already had).

Since they had other things to attend to just now.

(Look, it was in her head now, too, no matter how briefly.)
She reached for his hand. "Come on. Taim yumi gon we."

Why did his boat have to be all the way on the other side of the island?
