"That's....kind of a long story," said Summer, realizing that she hadn't actually told this story in a while, and, in a way, it was almost her origin story around here, too, wasn't it? But the crux of Jesse's question was also...a little hard to answer. "And I guess...it'd kind of be easier to say what he didn't do. They had him pegged for so many space crimes, I don't even know probably a third of them, but if you boil it down, he's really the only person in our dimension to actually get interdimensional travel. I think that was the main reason they were after him, without even getting into all the space crimes and misdemeanors.

"Which is kind of crazy to think about the fact that this dimension already has a whole-ass business with interdimensional travel at its core, with an app and everything, but that's probably why Grampa Rick acts like someone pissed in his soda every single time I use it for myself.
