Homecoming Carnival, The Park, Saturday

It was probably a good thing that most of the carnival was set up on Friday night, so when people woke up as kids, everything else adjusted too. The weather was perfect for playing outside - not that a little rain would stop anyone - and it was time to have fun!

"Why is it so loud now?" Arthur asked. John had done his best to describe the rides, but with no frame of reference, Arthur hadn't understood a lot of it. "Is it the people throwing things?" He'd gotten that part.

"Little green creatures that bite," Stark explained. "They live here. The ones in the game aren't real. And the pies...I think they're mostly whipped cream. I'm not sure why they do it."

Had Arthur finished his food? Not at all. Was he even thinking about it anymore? Nope! He was scrambling up from the table.
