Boy, it was a good thing Gladio had filled up on all that weird pizza that was in the fridge that morning, because these PB&Js just were not going to cut it for a growing boy like him!

He was super into those juice boxes, though.

And here was also Gladio, who apparently even at eight couldn't go very long without discarding his shirt, but this was mostly because he was trying to convince the face painter to give him a cool chest tattoo of an eagle.

"I'm going to have a really big one one day," he informed them importantly, "all across my back and arms and everything, because I'm going to be Shield of the King! It's a symbol of my house, you know!"

The face painter was very impressed, Gladio, really. They were still going to try to talk you down into maybe a rainbow or some lightning bolts on your cheeks, though.
