Homecoming Carnival, The Park, Saturday Daytime

Things were a little quieter as the carnival was being set up this morning, but after the last few days that was kind of a low bar. The weather was perfect for an autumn themed event - a little cool and crisp, but bright and sunny with no advertisements anywhere in sight. What more could anyone ask for?

Sometimes, they just worked together beautifully well. He had no more started to think of her using the money for dunking Gladio and she had already begun turning around to trade a dollar and a charming smile into a baseball of her own. "Wouldn't you know it, I have just the idea," she said brightly.

You brought this on yourself, Beefslab.

"Though do let me assure you," she added in a softly husky voice, "I am very much enjoying the show."

Not even the dunking of Gladio!

Okay, maybe a little the dunking of Gladio.

"Well, I can only imagine," Ignis responded back, with a tone to mirror Liliana's and a smirk to match it as well, "he does make quite the spectacular splash when he hits the water..."

Because surely that was what she was referring to, no?

"He does make an impressive geyser," she conceded, "but I'm far more drawn to the smirk you wear every single time."

Unlike some people, she didn't seem to take issue with it.
