Midnight Manor Boarding House, Tuesday Daytime
Marc's office was still there. Which was worth noting because he could make it go somewhere. But, yanno, fine. If he had to be in charge of the place might as well have somewhere to be in charge from. Somewhere that didn't involve inviting people into the private residence. (Which was entirely a concern for privacy and not for Watts and Steven's cat who still got skittish around strangers sometimes. Just so that was clear.)
Today Marc was at his desk and using his phone to try to look up information on buying and installing outdoor speakers. Midnight could do a lot of things but creating something electronic that allowed for playing music either on the roof or out by the grill was apparently not on that list.
Getting this done was on Marc's list because... it was getting warmer out and the residents would probably make use of such a thing.
What? That wasn't not a reason.
All of which meant Marc was in his office, regretting the choices in life that led him to try to navigate his way through far too many pop-ups on websites that sold outdoor speakers, and thinking a tiny bit fondly of the days when his annoyances came in the form of people trying to shoot him.
Out front the chalkboard sign had the usual note about rooms available for rent, along with one underneath it which said Come on in, office is to your right. Don't mind Marc, he has other facial expressions, we promise.

Re: NFB from here please
Which on the surface seemed like it really ought to be right up his alley. And yet.
Re: NFB from here please
Hey, with the dubious qualifications some of them had, it seemed like a fair bet.
Re: NFB from here please
Married to another man, and father to multiple children, which was its own can of worms Watts wasn't going to touch with Marc.
Re: NFB from here please
"Class suck?" Marc guessed, since that was the next option.
Re: NFB from here please
And Llewellyn Watts was not the type of man inclined to share most of his personal experiences outside of a very limited circle.
Re: NFB from here please
Well, he knew. And Steven. But that was all the more reason why Marc knew other people could fuck off if Watts didn't want to share.

The sigh was more for the first option, which he found somewhat distasteful. The second was- well, the second was more or less how he operated usually, at least when it came to his personal life.

Having responsibility for a sentient building, for example.

"I suppose," Watts said. "It's unfortunate I won't know the specific discussion topic until I arrive for the session."
Re: NFB from here please
Not that Marc had had experience there, but others did.

Re: NFB from here please
Definitely no thanks to Marc who'd been the reason why Steven was bad about losing time in the first place.
Re: NFB from here please
"There is no point in me getting upset over something he cannot control," Watts said. "It would accomplish nothing."
