Luke's Diner; Tuesday [11/05].
When Ignis came into the kitchen and started to get things set up for the daily specials, he was surprised by just how many pumpkins there actually were in the diner that day. He had, of course, expected some amount of the obiquitous gourd to be present in the pantries at this time of year, but after nearly half a dozen shoved aside into a half a dozen more, he just had to ask.
"Exactly how many pumpkins do we have in here today? Surely, something must be done about this seasonal swarm of succulent squash?"
"I think you know what to do, Chef," Greg said, nodding as he handed Ignis an apron.
And Ignis tied it on with a sigh, and prepared a knife with far more flourish than could ever be necessariy. "Yes. Yes, I'm afraid I do..."

"Didn't have enough pumpkin yesterday?" she teased, sauntering through the door. "I don't blame you, my nibbles were delicious." Though her brightest grin was saved for Ignis, she also favored his underli--ahem, coworkers with smiles, too. "Greg," she greeted. "Ali. Bobby.
And then she was in front of Ignis and the other three ceased to exist.
Well. Greg's patchouli lingered, but then, it always did.

And then , his response. Because priorities.
"According to the island," he said, "or at least the diner, apparently not. I suppose it's must have been a bit jealous of what I had to offer yesterday, to leave me unindated with the ingredients to keep making more pumpkin recipehs."

Good.
"I approve of your choices, my darling," she said, because, yes, she'd pout if her special treats ended up on the specials board.
For peasants."Perhaps the island simply enjoys requesting a theme to see what you can do with it."no subject
Although, to Greg's credit, if you had the chance to watch Ignis deftly carve into a bunch of pumpkins with such precision and ease, too, could you really blame him?
"And your thoughts?" he asked. "On continuing this particular theme for your own lunch?"

"So long as it meets my general requirements," Liliana said, leaning into his personal space with her chin resting on her palm. "Otherwise, I shall have to request something else, of course."
Not on the Specials Board and on the faster side to prepare so as to maximize her Ignis time.
"Though if you can bring one of those pumpkins home, I do have a request for dinner, which might perhaps make up for asking for something else this afternoon."
