"And I've heard a lot about you, too, Savannah," Sue said, shooting Johnny a glance as if daring him to repeat the witch comment. "It's so nice to meet you."

She looked confused at the request, but then shrugged. She looked at Sue and smiled, maintaining eye contact.

"Well, I'm a witch..."

Savannah nodded. "I was born one and I've been working on my powers since I was old enough to understand that I needed to."

Sue glared at Johnny. She looked back to Savannah and said, "Are you a good witch?"

Savannah smiled at Paige. "Hi, Paige. This is Sue, Johnny's sister. Sue, this is my guardian, Paige."

"Hello, Paige, nice to meet you," Sue said, still reeling a little at the witch revelation.

"Paige!" The look Savannah was giving her was distinctly not happy. "Can you just let it go."

"Roommate?" Sue said, looking from Johnny to Savannah. "I thought they were dating."

Savannah was getting less and less happy -- especially after the call she had gotten from Eve earlier.

"Yes, I am the roommate of my boyfriend. You are making way too big of a deal out of it."

"Johnny!" Sue said, gaping at him. "You're too young to live with someone! You can't have co-ed rooms!"

Savannah was clenching and unclenching her hands in her lap beneath the table.

"That's because Zoe is a wise woman who knows that her students can make their own decisions." Savannah rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Of course, she probably wouldn't be embarrassing her family in public and in front of her boyfriend's sister, either."

Yeah, Savannah was starting to feel just a little betrayed and insulted by this whole conversation. Paige was so going to hear about this later.

If she made it to later without blowing her top.

Sue flailed. "Johnny!" she said. "I think sending you to this place to learn to be responsible was a mistake! I stopped by the office and got a copy of your classes. How to be Awesome? Next Top Model? Mom and Dad are going to be furious!"
