The Android's Dungeon, Monday

Much like someone across town, Teddy was still in an excellent mood over the weekend. So good that he was still humming some stupid song from the dance that was now just stuck in his head.

He might even attempt dancing next.

It was scary.

It was Monday morning, which meant just one thing: coffee and grunting.

...Okay, that was two things. That just went to show how essential the coffee that Chad brought with him into the comics shop that morning and handed over to Teddy with a grunt was needed.

Hey, it was the current weekly tradition. At least, it will be until March 4th.

Chad grunted what could be translated as a hey back, and then tilted his head in a nonverbal question of how Teddy was doing.

Chad could always appreciate a response that didn't need words. Especially a response like that. Especially this early in the morning. He grinned back a little, grunting in agreement as he reached into the bag he'd brought with him for a muffin.

Chad was actually kind of enjoying it, which was why he went for the muffin first instead of the coffee. He picked out of the bag one of the bigger ones for Teddy.

There could always be sushi.

Chad chewed his muffin thoughtfully for a moment; or, perhaps, he only looked thoughtful, since he was pretty sure he wasn't awake enough get for thoughts deeper than mmm, muffin and coffee is good and that cardboard cutout of Really Strong Guy needs a mustache.

Maybe Teddy was right. It would be creepy. Especially if it was right behind you now...

Not that any of it mattered because telepathy was neither of their strong points.

Chad grunted, shaking his head. "Just muffins today," he said, after giving in and drinking the coffee.

Chad grunted a little, apologetic and shamed, and he nodded.

"Glazed? Frosted?"

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
"What about," Chad wondered, because he'd hate to mess up donuts, "those long ones with the cream filling?"

...ahem.

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
Chad looked vaguely confused; he felt more than vaguely confused, but vaguely was all his expression could muster.

"What?"

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
"...About what?"

Morning, Teddy. It was still very early morning.

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
Chad tried to think a little bit about it now, but found that it only made him want a donut, so he grunted, nodding. "Okay."

"I don't think I even know when spring break is, Teddy."

Chad could have just said no. It would have been more Chad-like, probably, but he felt that this response made the better point.

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh."

"Did you want to do anything?"

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
"Mmmmmmm."

Chad very clearly liked that idea.

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
Chad started to grin a little.

But then it stopped.

"I have club."

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
"And I'm setting up cheerleading this week."

"Thursday?" Chad offered. "I don't have any classes."

Chad grunted a little.

"When the hell did we get so busy?"
