Groovy Tunes; Monday [ 04/20 ].

Chad was starting to think that all of this end of the year stuff really shouldn't have waited until the end of the year because, man, there was a lot of stuff to do. Most of it had to do with the store, but some of it was his college stuff, and the rest of it...

...there was an application to something that kept drawing his attention. It was kind of a ridiculous idea, but he definitely had the experience for it.

Now if only he could bring himself up to just doing it...

Today's Mix: New Mix

Groovy Tunes is open!

Dale was in an impossibly good mood this morning. Possibly because he was still basking in the glow of his engagement to Charlotte. Of course the three cups of coffee he had in the last hour also were a factor.

"Good morning!" Dale said cheerfully as he entered the shop. "My, what a lovely shop you have here!"

"I'm looking for a particular song," Dale replied. "It's for a special occasion. I'm engaged to. A beautiful young lady and I would like to fing the perfect song to be used at our reception."

"I'm looking for something... timeless. The most perfect romantic song that speaks of undying love and happiness," Dale said enthusiastically. "Do you have any suggestions?"

"Excellent idea!" Dale agreed as he marched over to the second. "You can't go wrong with the classics."

"Sticks?" Dale asked looking momentarily baffled. "I'm not familiar with them. What songs do they sing?"

"... Exactly what kind of music is it?" Dale asked carefully.

Dale paused for a moment as he thought that through. "You mean like from the 50's and 60's?"

"I think our frame of reference for what we consider classical might be a bit different," Dale said with a chuckle.

"I don't think it's what I'm looking for," Dale replied. "Besides I think my fiance might be a little put off. Do you know her? She owns the art gallery in town."

"Well then you can probably imagine how she'd react to a 70's rock anthem at her wedding," Dale grinned.

"Although..." Dale drawled. "There is one song that was fairly recent. Have you heard of 'Butterfly kisses?'"

"Do you have it?" Dale asked. "Though for some reason I'm getting the impression you are not a fan of the song."
