JGOB | Early Afternoon | Saturday | October 2
Yesterday had been a complete surprise for Bod. He hadn't expected Silas and hadn't even been ready for something of that magnitude to happen to him so even a day later, he was still wound up and more than a little energetic.
Bod had plans to meet Silas this morning but the older man wasn't there yet. Bod didn't know where he'd gone after they'd departed but he knew better than to think about it too hard. For the moment, he was sitting alone, drinking something warm and picking at the muffin in front of him.
Silas hadn't told him much about what he and the Honour Guard had been doing since he'd last seen Bod but he hoped that would change today. He wanted to hear about where Silas had gone, if he'd returned to the graveyard and if he'd seen the last of the Jacks eliminated.
It was hard to just sit there when his mind was buzzing with so many different things but he knew Silas would only chide him and give him a very cool, very assessing look if he was found to be out of control. So, he'd stay there for now and wait for his guardian.
[Totally open, yep, if you wanna bother Bod or meet Silas (a little later when I get him into the post) or just wanna use the business for yourself!]

He regarded Bod quietly, waiting for him to speak.

As usual, it was hunger that had them coming back to town, and what better place to stop than at JGOB. Jake grinned when he noticed his roomie and made his way over, Quil and Embry a few steps behind him.
"Hey, Bod! I've got someone for you to meet!"

"Who can speak for himself," Quil made a face. "You're his roommate, right? You all have our sympathy on that."

Only then she spotted Bod. And some old guy.
Bod wasn't supposed to have visitors; he'd been pretty clear on that point. And now it kind of looked like he had one anyway. So, excuse her already slightly wary look as she drifted towards their table to investigate. "Hey, Bod."

"Kate!" He stood up and smiled though, happy to see her. Silas didn't stand. Silas turned to glance at her but his expression was neutral. "Hullo, Kate. Welcome back."
[I am going to hop away just for a minute to get some FOOOOOD but brb!]

"Been back since late last night," she pointed out, stepping a little closer to Bod to reach up and press a quick kiss on his cheek. She didn't think there was any particular reason for why she did it, but someone might have seen it as an act of claiming him all over again. "Hi."
[THERE WILL BE NO STARVING TO DEATH DURING PW, SO I APPROVE OF THIS.]

"Did you have a good time at your art event?" Bod asked, trying for casual and calm even if he was anything but.
no subject
"It was awesome. I got a flower from a guy on stilts, and I met a bunch of Lynda's friends."

Silas kept silent. He didn't need to talk for the moment and the interplay between Bod and this girl was interesting enough.

It was almost as if she was waiting for someone. She just didn't know it, yet.
[expecting someone here, but thread open to all!]

For the first time in nearly 36 hours, luck was on her side though and she spotted her friend through the window. She pushed the door open and flopped down in the seat across from her.
"Why the hell did you have to go to a school halfway across the damn country?"
Hello was for other people.

Pause.
"Not that I am unhappy to see you," she amended, a huge grin on her face. "How the hell did you get here?"
She was fairly certain Kim could not afford a plane ticket. Not like her parents would have invited her along.

The last part of Kim's statement stood out to her. Cautiously, she asked, "Are you and Daniel having problems again?"

For the eighth or ninth time.
"Are there hot guys here?"
