Our Lady of Fandom - Sunday [All Day]
Seifer was at the church again, as he was supposed to be. There was to be a small morning service, and then he would be present at the church all day. He had much to pray and ask forgiveness for.
Seifer had a feeling that yesterday's slow run on weddings was a one-off.
He had cleaned the church, removing all traces of yesterday's ...indiscretions. It was once again a place of holy worship.

Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
See?
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
"I trust you brought your witness, Mr Franklin, along."
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
Probably not that last one; the writer in question couldn't remember what it meant and decided to just throw it in.
"I'm certain my dearest Darling has Mr. Franklin accompanying him," she said, coyly.
Brides didn't pay. She would have gone broke by now, otherwise.
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
Money was just paper. It had nothing on love.
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
The writers hardly ever went with the standard, but they always made sure the priest asked.
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
"Jeremy, there are so many times that I have felt that I should give up on love. You have taught me to believe again. In the few short hours we have spent together, I have experienced real peace. With you by my side, I believe that I can fly, that I can touch the sky. I think about it every night and day. I vow to be yours, totally and utterly, until death do we part, and that I shall never dip into my stash of cantarella, which is currently in the ancient heirloom sugar bowl which I stole from the Lannister family, no matter how difficult the times ahead may be. I love you, and I cannot wait to be your bride."
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
"I love you, babe," he started. "Let's get married."
... There might have been a page missing from the script, there. The writers were being really careless with this storyline, it seemed.
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
The priest had not asked him to kiss the bride yet, but that was okay, because technically, the bride was kissing him.
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
Yeah, he really didn't care about priests and their words right now.
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
Lucrezia finally realized that she should pretend to some sort of modesty and end the kiss, her lips still ghosting over his.
"And now, my lord husband," she breathed, "I would say we are well and truly married, are we not?"
They'd said vows, they'd kissed, that counted, right? And they could go find a dark closet or confessional booth and consummate the marriage. Lucrezia Borgia Sforza Wayne Lannister della Rovere possibly-Luthor Wayne Darling was classy like that.
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
Anyway. He nodded, breathless. "Yes. Yes, I think we are. Can we just --?"
Go find a dark closet or confessional booth and consummate the marriage.
Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Darling!
"Come, my husband," she said, coyly, tugging on his hand and leading him over to the confessional booth.
Her father was the Pope. That meant it wasn't blasphemy. Besides, they were married now!
