Homecoming Dance | Town Hall | Friday Evening | Post I

Glitter seemed to be a theme of the evening. There was glitter on the posters covering the walls, glitter on the plants printed on table cloths. Glitter on the fake full moon hanging in place of a mirror ball.

And of course, glitter on the banner hanging above the entrance.

Yeul tilted her head, considering that thoughtfully. "It is not that I do not like the idea of dressing up," she said slowly, "but I do not entirely see the point in it. What I am wearing is suitable for most situations, after all."

"Plus it's basically home but a couple of degrees over," Kennedy agreed. "I'm totally down with that, and if Giles or Dawn or anyone gives me crap about it I can totally spin it as... research into new fighting tactics. I wouldn't even be lying!"

She grinned. "Kinda nice, hanging out with people who don't think it's weird that you can do funky things with your mind, huh?"

"You're welcome." Stiles was always complimenting Danny and Scott like that so he didn't think anything about it was weird. "By the end of the night you might look like a 70's rock star though, what with all the glitter."

As a graduate, Jack also had a dance partner who came to find him eventually, after she dropped off her bag at the house and freshened up a bit.

"Does this make me your moon, then?" Emma asked archly as she came up behind him, the lights glinting off her dress as she took in the decorations. "I think I could rise to the occasion."

Kenzi arrived all dressed up and perky, considering that this was the last Homecoming of high school for her. Also, throwing glitter in the air whenever she got the chance.
