It was the day before graduation. The day before pomp and circumstance, diplomas, smiling seniors and proud guests. What better way to spend that day then partying the night away? That's right, tonight was the night of the senior lock in! Many ~~NPC~~ workers had been busy in town, cleaning up and setting up an abandoned warehouse for the event.

Now, the front of the warehouse was lit up with neon signs and stanchions that would lead the seniors into a huge building where not one speck of floor space wasn't being used for something fun. There was loud music pumping through the building and strobe lights were swirling around the area, lighting up the room in blues, reds, greens, yellows and various other colors. Decorations of all kinds painted the walls, giving the room a party like atmosphere.

Of course, it would just be a regular ole party, right? Nothing surprising would happen, right? Oh, of course. No surprises. Riiiiiight.

The senior lock in was open and it was time for the seniors to get their party on!

Final senior party? Peter was absolutely going to be there. Much though he was in denial about graduation.

"Why am I not surprised that you look happy about this party?" Jess said, coming up beside Peter.

"Because you know me like the back of your hand?" Peter replied.

"I do not," Jess said scoffing. "I still don't understand half of what you do."

"Yeah, but," Peter held his hand out for Jess to see. He grinned, indicating Jess's hand with a nod of his head. "Parts like this you know pretty well."

"Yeah, well, we definitely don't have the same brain, no matter how much of the rest matches," Jess said. "I bet you're excited about tomorrow too."

"I'm amazed I made it," Peter said, by way of saying yes. "What about you? You're more of a student than I am."

"Oh yeah, I'm a real steadfast student. That's why it took me twice as long to get to this point," Jess said, rolling his eyes. "I'm just glad it's over and no one can make me go to school ever again."

"Not going to college then?" Peter asked.

Jess snorted. "Not a chance. I barely made it through high school."

"I didn't even apply," Peter said. "I don't want to go."

"Then you can't really judge me for not wanting to go either," Jess replied. "Can't you pay your way into any school you want?"

"Who said I was judging you?" Peter asked, because wow he so was not. "And yeah, I could, maybe. But why? Even if I liked bribing my way into anything, school isn't what I'd waste the money on."

"You made it seem like you thought I'd be going to college," Jess said. "What are you going to waste your money on then?" It was one thing for him to not bother with more school, but the idea of someone like Peter not trying to do something substantial with his future seemed wrong somehow.

"Thought," Peter said. "Not expected or anything. And when the time comes I'll go back to New York. Maybe get a place of my own while I help out Nathan and anyone who needs it, I guess."

"Help out how?" Jess asked. He wanted to leave it at that, he really did, but he couldn't help adding, "You really thought I could go to college?"

"Not like I was checking out your grades or anything," Peter said. He shrugged. "Just - of the two of us, yanno? And Nathan's running for Congress. He's heading home after graduation to really get into his campaign."

"And here I would have said the same thing about you if we were compared," Jess said, shaking his head and smirking. "You think your brother's got a chance to win?"
