Homecoming Dance | Town Hall | Friday Evening | Post I

Glitter seemed to be a theme of the evening. There was glitter on the posters covering the walls, glitter on the plants printed on table cloths. Glitter on the fake full moon hanging in place of a mirror ball.

And of course, glitter on the banner hanging above the entrance.

Welcome to Homecoming 2012

Become a (wo)man.

Become a wolf.

Warren was a damn tease, him and the tie of his.

"There's nothing that says we can't leave the dance early and just meet up with them later," Karla agreed, combating his claws with a shoe up his calf. "I don't think I'm in the running for Homecoming Queen, so if we wanted to bow out now..."

"Have you got all of your at-the-dance socializing out of your system for the evening?"

Warren was not going to shiver. Was not. Nope.

Maybe a little.

"Not even a little," Karla said with a laugh. Because she was the horriblest girlfriend ever and why did he keep her around anyway? "I just got here, remember? I predict I have about another hour or so before I'm ready to leave."

She looked up at him from under her lashes and added, "Don't you want to dance with me at least once anyway?"

And at that, Warren just grinned, reaching for her hands and starting to lead her toward the dance floor.

"At least once," he informed her, "and the first dance is going to be mine."
