Beach; Sunday Afternoon

Luke was new to town, but that didn't mean he was going to let not knowing how things work around here stop him from his usual activities. It was Fourth of July and there were two things you should do on that day: Watch that movie with Will Smith in it and light some sparklers on fire. He had already done the former and, now that it was getting dark, it was time to blow up shiny things.

He had found a spot on the beach where he wouldn't burn anything down, made a bonfire and then snapped up whatever fireworks he could think of. Sparklers, Roman Candles, Wheels, Snakes, Parachutes, and even some of the bigger ones that may have been less than legal in this country (he was debating on whether or not he'd light those). Truly a pyromaniac's dream come true.

Luke snapped up some burgers and sodas and he was ready to celebrate July 4th in style.

[Impromptu beach party yesss. Hold on, I'm adding OCD There you go!]

Independence Day typically meant cookouts and fireworks so Hannibal was glad to see it wasn't any different this July 4th. Impromptu or not, he figured he could spend his holiday here, light some things on fire and go home happy later.

Ariel didn't know anything about human holidays, much less American-specific ones, so here she'd been thinking she was going to go for a walk on the beach just because it would be fun. But she only got a little ways until she realized that it was just that ever effective internal party magnet proving useful again.

Why couldn't she be as lucking in kisses as she was at finding parties?

Oh, well, no matter. Because her stomach had finally settled and there was food and she could eat it!

And just wait until she discovered what fireworks were, too.

Bod didn't much all that much about the holiday but he had a cat who wasn't happy unless she was active so they'd both walked down to the beach to enjoy the nice day.

Finding a party was a definite plus for Kate the cat which just meant Bod was going to hang around and see what there was to see. He hadn't ever seen fireworks though so he was secretly looking forward to those.

"So this is Kate, huh?" Sookie asked, grinning as she wandered over with a drink in her hand.

Please. Like Sookie would be spending her Independence Day inside? She made her way down to the beach in a bikini and shorts, and despite the fact that she'd basically just been here for her birthday, she wasn't exactly feeling deja vu or anything, no. There were no tiki torches, if nothing else.

Peter showed up, partially because he had no other plans and it seemed like the proper way to celebrate the day.

He had brought what leftover fireworks of his own he had from that day at the campfire, just to add onto the supply already there.

Ariel had to wave at Peter for a multitude of reasons that completely outweighed the fact that she going AFK soon. One, she knew him. Kind of. Two, she wasn't currently ticked off at him, unlike some at the party. And three, she'd just discovered fireworks. The high she was on was astounding.

The lack of roommie was noticed at some point, and Could found the party going on some time later. He had totally not gotten lost, word; he had been exploring the town, and the reserve, and now the beach, just that.

That said, he had to wonder what was the party about.

"You need an explanation?" Peter asked the new kid. At least, he'd assumed it was a new kid.

Delirium was not American...but she was burning something alright. She only needed to decide what. Hopefully one of the fireworks.

I agree, you are superior to Tracy, but that's mostly because I've seen all of Tracy's boys' hot icons and yours are all new.

I am fickle.

Now I totally see you two testing you awesomeness to get posting rights.

And I can totally post from my iPod, figures. Now it only needs to stop changing every single word I write.
